Waiting for, 2023
Live streaming from different locations in Sweden. Exhibited at Studio 44, Stockholm.
We are waiting. Waiting for things to go back to normal, waiting for good news, waiting to see if things have changed, waiting to walk out the door, waiting to meet someone, waiting for a new life. Has waiting become our life?

From the exhibition “New Neutralities” taking place at Studio 44 in Stockholm and Pipeline gallery in LA.
New Neutralities
The notion of Swedish neutrality seems chiseled in stone as something true and eternal. It is true that there hasn't been a war engaging Sweden for over two hundred years. How does this reflect upon the citizens, their temperament and projection?
As a force of diplomacy this northern country has played an important role in international affairs and on a personal level most Swedish citizens have enjoyed the privilege of peace and the perception of being of reliable heritage. Today the crazy russian war has changed everything, Sweden is moving towards joining NATO, and the EU is a more important alliance after the Trump years.
The exhibition reflects new realities and in the world from a Swedish perspective, on war, migration, nationality and self reflection.
